Paris of the Plains Festival – World of Rum (Plantation Rum seminar), 2015

As almost everyone in the spirits industry heads down to New Orleans this week for Tales of the Cocktail, I thought I’d also mention a few other cocktail weeks and festivals coming up. Paris of the Plains in Kansas City, MO has moved their POP Fest to August. Also look for the California Rum Festival now in its second year in San Francisco next month. Actually, it might be a great time to visit California in August. You can hit SF for rum, then Sacramento for Sacramento Cocktail Week (formerly known as Midtown Cocktail Week) and at the end of the month, catch some surfing along with the San Diego Spirits Festival.

We also see some international fests in Hong Kong, Russia, Australia and the UK in September.
