Welcome to LA Cocktails by The Minty!
The Minty is a Los Angeles lifestyle blog about dining, drinks and dating. The Minty is best known for her food and bar crawls with such themes as Hot Bartenders, Gays & Dolls and Craft Beer. After some thought, I decided to create LA Cocktails to highlight some of my other loves-
booze bar stories history. I’ll be exploring all things booze including cocktail bars and their history as well as track trends. Read about the making of a Cocktailian here. And how do you drink like the Minty?
The Minty was nominated by LA Weekly as one of the Best Bar Blogs in 2012.
The Minty loves judging cocktail contests! Read about one here.

My name is Kyle Branche. I’m a professional and private bartender in Los Angeles. If interested, I have a Blog of Stories and Encounters, at: http://www.LABartender.wordpress.com . I write my stories in a random mode, no chronological order, so if you do go to the page, just pick a title of a story that grabs you at the moment. It’s the best way to experience them. I’m looking at April of this year as the release date for Book One in a series of these short stories, titled “Life Behind Bars”.
My name is Josh Payne. I work for BackBarUSA, a beverage marketing and consulting firm in Las Vegas.
BackBarUSA, Tony Abou-Ganim, and the United States Bartenders’ Guild are teaming up to host an incredible event called “For The Love Of Cocktails” on February 13th 2014. Proceeds will benefit the Helen David Relief Fund.
We are impressed with your blogs and hoping you will join our efforts by promoting our event. Promotional support via your personal/business Facebook, blog, and other social media helps significantly. Posting of the website http://www.fortheloveofcocktails.com, and the event page here is a tremendous help. https://www.facebook.com/events/580395345371095/?ref=br_tf
Thank you, I appreciate your precious time.
